We will pick you up at your hotel in Copiapó to begin this tour that blends Chile’s mining history with unique coastal landscapes of the Atacama Desert.
You will visit the entrance of the San José Mine, known worldwide for the 2010 accident of the 33 miners, a story that captivated the entire world. Then, you will continue along the Atacama Coastal Route, passing through Bahía Cisne and El Morro Beach, famous for their natural beauty.
You will also discover Bahía Inglesa, a beach town with white sand and turquoise waters, named after the English pirate Edward Davis, and Caldera Port, home to Chile’s first railway built to transport minerals from the Chañarcillo and Tres Puntas mines.
Finally, we will return to Copiapó, closing a full-day experience filled with history, culture, and the unforgettable coastal landscapes of Atacama.
