Description

Description

The first thing you'll notice is the thunderous sound of cracking ice. On this Perito Moreno Glacier Nautical Safari, you'll cruise across Rico Lake as the glacier's towering southern face rises like a massive blue wall before you. Watch huge chunks of ice break away and crash into the water, sending echoes across the channel. From just 500 m (1,640 ft) away, you'll clearly see deep crevasses, brilliant blue ice, and floating icebergs. This is Patagonia at its wildest and most breathtaking.

The 1-hour navigation is suitable for travelers of all ages. Departures operate every day of the year from Bajo de las Sombras Port (Route 11, Km 70.9), about 7 km (4.3 mi) from the glacier and approximately a 1.5-hour drive from El Calafate. Transportation to the port is not included, so be sure to arrange your transfer in advance.

The glacier is constantly changing, and every day brings new ice calving events that reshape its face. Book your Perito Moreno Glacier Nautical Safari and experience one of the world's most extraordinary natural wonders from an unforgettable perspective.
