Experience the cultural and historical highlights of southern Chile on this Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas City Tour, blending heritage, architecture, and stunning scenery.

We will start at Puerto Montt’s Main Square, home to the Monument to the German Colonists, honoring the immigrants who arrived in 1852. From the Manuel Montt Viewpoint, you will enjoy a panoramic view of the city, Tenglo Island, and the Reloncaví Sound, part of the Pacific Ocean.

Next, you will visit the colorful Angelmó Market, famous for its handicrafts and fishermen’s cove, where you will find a wide variety of local products.

The journey continues to Puerto Varas, known as the City of Roses, located on the shores of Lake Llanquihue with spectacular views of the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes. Here you will explore the Main Square, the Heritage District, and the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, built between 1915 and 1918 in a neo-Romanesque style with Baroque details, inspired by churches from Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

A perfect tour to explore two of the most iconic cities in Chile’s Lake District, where culture, history, and landscapes come together.

*If your accommodation is an Airbnb or at the Hotel Casa Azul, we will have to set a meeting point to start the tour, because the pick-up is not possible in this type of accommodation.

*The end time of this activity might be modified because the number of passengers during January and February is bigger than the rest of the year. Because of that, our recommendation is to buy tickets to leave Puerto Varas at least 5 hours after the end of the tour or leave your trip for the day after the tour.
