What to bring
You will start the Minca, Hidden Waterfall + Coffee and Cocoa Workshop tour by heading to Minca, located 13 km from Santa Marta. This place has a beautiful landscape as it is surrounded by mountains and lots of nature. Here you will begin a walk of approximately 50 minutes along ecological trails. The guide will explain the basic procedures for producing, harvesting, drying and roasting coffee and cocoa. Then the car will take you to the Sierra sector, where you will begin another hike. You will cross the river until you reach the hidden waterfall of 25 meters high. Here you will have time to swim in these waters coming from Sierra Nevada. You will then enjoy a delicious lunch in a house located in the middle of nature. Later, you will begin a walk of approximately 50 minutes, where you will travel through the tropical rainforest while the guide explains the importance of bamboo for the conservation of the paths that connect the different sectors of the mountain range. You will arrive at a viewing point that will give you a panoramic view of the city of Santa Marta. You can also visit the cacao museum before starting the return trip to Santa Marta.
